About Homewatch CareGivers of Twin Falls
Homewatch CareGivers of Twin Falls has been serving the Southwest region of Idaho since
2009 and is the premier provider of caregiving services in our community.
Eric Wallentine worked as an engineer for 16 years and moved into a marketing position after receiving his MBA in 2002. After living in Belgium for over a year and experiencing the drawbacks of working for a large corporation in a declining economy, Eric decided to pursue a career where he could make a difference. Homewatch CareGivers offered that possibility, and Eric now enjoys using his experience and problem-solving skills to provide higher quality care to seniors in the Treasure Valley. Eric successfully completed the certified senior advisor (CSA) course in 2010 to help seniors with issues that often arise during their golden years. Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, their seven children and two grandchildren.
Nate Benjamin joined his friend, Eric, as partner soon after opening. After 15 years in high tech conducting business throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe, Nate decided to search for a more meaningful career where he could have a greater impact on the lives of people in the community. His time is now focused on finding seniors who need help and providing care for them so they can remain as independent as possible, either in their home or a facility. Nate has personal experience supporting the elderly as he helped his mother-in-law suffering with Alzheimer’s disease for many years until she passed away in 2012. Nate has a passion for assisting those who also struggle with that disease and served on the board of Idaho Alzheimer’s Association. Nate and his wife have four children. They enjoy outdoor activities such as water skiing, mountain biking, camping and spending time together.
Those who know Eric and Nate can attest that they are a great team! Their motivation is to provide the best care by having medically knowledgeable and trained caregivers. Every caregiver must pass vigorous screening and testing including a private investigator background check in addition to a drug screening and driver’s license screening. There is also a continuing education program to prepare them in caring for people with specific illnesses or conditions.
