Companion Care Services not only provide comfort and emotional support, but also include those errands, tasks and chores that make life easier for our clients and their loved ones: Arts & crafts, Bedtime set-up, Board games, Cards and games, Clothing set-up, Denture care set-up, Escort to Medical appointments, Family communication, Gardening, Hobbies, Home safety supervision, Hosting social activities, Laundry, Letter writing, Light housekeeping, Linen changes, Medication reminders, Movies, Oral care set-up, Prescription pick up, Reading together, Respite care, Shampoo hair set-up, Shaving: electric razor set-up, Shopping, Shower set-up, Social engagement, Social outings, Transportation services, Walker set-up and Wheelchair set-up

Community care typically includes the same type of care as described above, but services are provided in a community setting, like a retirement community or assisted living facility.
In a community care facility such as an assisted living facility or nursing home the services are provided by paid staff. In retirement communities, where some residents still live fully or mostly independently, services can be provided by an outside 3rd party with who the community has contracted to provided services to residents as needed.
