Pascal George, President of Homewatch CareGivers, worked in hospital administration for ten years before changing his career path to work in blood services, stem cell labs, and management consulting before finding is true passion in providing home care services.
Pascal has personal experience with a loved one who is living with Alzheimer’s disease as his mother, who lives in France, has been diagnosed with it. While Pascal’s siblings have been able to provide some support, the family has had to get additional help too. “I find it rewarding to be there for other people’s loved ones,” he said.
In his leisure time, Pascal loves to play with his grandchildren, be outdoors and play songs on his guitar.
Maria Scimè, Director of Community Outreach at Homewatch CareGivers of Paramus, has worked her whole life in customer service. Starting as a flight attendant with a major airline, she was quickly promoted to the rank of In-Flight Service Manager due to her superior ability to understand and meet customers’ needs. Switching industries, Maria then took on the role of Customer Service and Business Development Manager, helping three different Community Blood Centers meet their local hospitals’ needs over the last 12 years. We are delighted Maria has now decided to bring her expertise to Homewatch CareGivers of Paramus.
In her new position, Maria is looking forward to building relationships with other providers to offer unparalleled services to the elderly and disabled in our area.
Stephany De Leon, RN, has a master’s degree in nursing leadership. She is also a CCHA Certified Instructor with five years of managed care experience, four years of home care and community nursing experience, and one year of urgent care and adult medical day care experience.
“There is a special place in my heart for the elderly,” Stephany says. “With proper support, care, and oversight, individuals are able to live their lives at home for as long as possible. I am happy to make a different within each person and their families.”
Donna Glassen previously worked for Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, NJ from 1990 through 2018. While there she worked as a Data Entry Operator, Computer Operations Coordinator Payroll Coordinator, Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director, where she held that position for 14 years. While at the Blood Center she established the Human Resources Department and was responsible for planning, developing and administering HR functions with the company.
Donna is looking forward to establishing the Human Resources Department at Homewatch CareGivers of Paramus as she had in her previous company. She strives to build and maintain relationships at all levels based on mutual respect and collaboration.
Donna has an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting from Fisher College, Boston and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Monmouth University, West Long Branch. She is a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is also a member of the Society or Human Resources Management and Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources.
