What makes Homewatch CareGivers of Sparks-North Reno different from other in-home care agencies?

We have a holistic, self-directive approach to Home Care that puts you, the client, in control of your care. Our services are assistive to your daily living. We tailor your care plan for how you want your care to look and feel, keeping your daily activities and routines intact. Ensuring that you continue to live the way you are accustomed to.

Starting care is made simple through a supportive consultation that assesses the needs and assistance we can provide to keep you safe and happy in your home. Our Caregivers are an extension of your support system and are there to assist with Home Health Care help.

Cost of Care

We provide care with no daily or weekly minimum-hour requirements. Understanding that every situation is different, the amount of care needed should not be confined to a set minimum of hours.

No down payments are needed to book a consultation or to reserve Home Care services. We offer free consultations for everyone and their family to learn about us and the care we can provide.

The cost of care varies greatly depending on the type of care needed, duration, and complexity. We offer care for as short as 1 hour or up to 24 hours—Companion Care to Complex Personal Care. Respite Care, to give a break to those caring for a loved one. Post-Surgery Care for when you need short-term rehabilitative support.

The cost of one hour of care is $60. Greater than 4 hours of care starts at $33/hour for Companion Care and moves to $40/hour for more Complex Personal Care.

Paying for In-home care

In-home care services are primarily paid through private pay funding, Long Term Care Insurance, or partnership with the VA. Particular circumstances may allow for Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement but depend upon the insurance provider's coverage.

Our support staff can help with sorting through payment options. We provide insurance companies with the necessary paperwork, submitting requests for reimbursement of the services performed for our clients. We also can assist with coordinating care through the VA and their physicians.

Grants are also available through organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association, MS society, and others.

Bills can be stressful, and the timing of monthly or weekly bills can create unnecessary hardships. We offer flexible billing to help ease the overwhelming pain of paying bills at the wrong time of the month. Billing can be set up with automatic withdrawal or paid by check on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.

A schedule made to match yours

Many of our clients have schedules that fluctuate from week to week. So we have developed our scheduling to match life's little changes. Caregivers are available on short notice, with on-call staffing. Any time help is needed.

Coordination of care incorporates many services, and it is essential to have someone who can help solve problems as they arise. Our extensive network of partners within the community can assist with day-to-day tasks that are outside our scope of care. These partnerships include transportation, financial assistance, help with insurance, and household repairs. At Homewatch CareGivers, we don't just support your care. We support all aspects of your home.
