I am Tyler Moss, the President of Homewatch CareGivers of Sparks-North Reno. A 4th generation Nevadan born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area. I attended the University of Nevada, receiving a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Business.
For much of my life, I have been focused on helping people along their path to personal and professional success. Before opening Homewatch CareGivers, I was in charge of maintaining a successful team of Sales Managers, and employees, servicing people in Northern Nevada, and Northern California.
My wife and I have two boys keeping us very busy outside of our professional careers. We enjoy traveling, attending a soccer or baseball game, and spending time outdoors in the Reno/Tahoe area.
The feeling one gets from doing good for others has brought me to open Homewatch CareGivers in the Reno and Sparks area. Caregiving and the Home Care industry is a selfless profession powered by caregivers with huge hearts. Finding people with the same shared values, and a desire to help makes this industry great.
For us connecting the right Caregiver to the right client, to help where help is needed is the heart of our organization.
I graduated from St. Mary’s Licensed Practical Nursing School in 1973. I worked in the nursing field for over 40 years. During my time nursing, I was fortunate enough to work in many different areas. Over the years I found nursing to be rewarding. Whether it be assisting the birth of a child or holding a patient's hand as they take their last breath.
Caregiving has been a large part of my life outside of my nursing career. When I was younger I spent time helping to care for my brother with special needs. After I retired from nursing I cared for medically fragile foster children. Most recently I have been assisting my niece as she cares for my older sister with dementia.
My joys in life are my two adult children and ten grandkids. Their ages range from 3 to 17 years old. They keep me busy and feeling young. Family is so important to me and being able to watch my grandkids grow into adults has been amazing. In my free time, I love reading books, and doing diamond point painting.
