Jeff Hufnagel

Owner & President
Jeff Hufnagel acquired Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda in 2019 and serves as President and Owner. He is an accomplished Senior Operations and Sales Leader. He brings more than 25 years of high-level leadership experience in operations, sales, accounting, and human resource functions. Most recently Jeff was a partner/owner at CBM Services working within three franchised systems in the commercial floor care and restoration industry. Prior to this, he held several executive multi-unit management positions for large corporations in the facility, property management, and retail industries. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. He has participated in numerous training/leadership programs, including the Ritz Carlton Executive Leadership Academy, Vistage International, the Disney Institute’s Leadership Excellence program, Franklin Covey, and Sandler Training Systems. When not working, Jeff is a big college football fan, is involved in the Oregon State University Alumni Association, and is a part-time coach for his children’s athletic teams. He also enjoys cooking, barbecuing and reading. -
Reem Hufnagel

Reem Hufnagel serves as the Vice President of Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda. She is a Market Director of Human Resources for Marriott International in the Anaheim, California market where she is responsible for all the HR functions and staffing of two resorts and sits on the executive board as well. She has been with the organization for 24 years. During her tenure, she spent six years working in Marriott’s Senior Living Services division before it was acquired by Sunrise Senior Living. Reem is passionate about giving back to the community and is active in several charities and volunteer opportunities including the OC Food Bank, Children’s Miracle Network, and the American Heart Association. Reem holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal State Fullerton in Business Administration. She is also credentialed as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) from the Society of Human Resources. In her spare time Reem enjoys travel, exploring new restaurants, concerts, and hanging out with family and friends. -

Art oversees the employee recruiting, training, and state compliance functions of our business. He brings to Homewatch CareGivers, a wealth of knowledge in the homecare industry. Art started his career in Homecare in 2006, working for a large national provider that specialized in memory care. He served in several positions including Special Project Manager, Trainer, and Recruiter. Art has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Art’s mission is to always act with integrity and compassion. Recruiting, training, and managing the best home health aides brings Art a tremendous amount of job satisfaction, as he is committed to delivering high quality caregivers to our clients. Art was born and raised in Orange County, CA and is a part of family that believes in giving back and has cherished community service for over 50 years. Art enjoys live entertainment and caring for his two companion dogs during his time away from work.

Tannya oversees the day-to-day operations of Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda. She has served as a leader in the home care industry for the past 15+ years. She began her career in 2006 as a CNA, and she soon realized that she was passionate about providing care while allowing clients to continue living in the comfort of their homes. Over the past decade, Tannya has worked as a Scheduler, Client Care Coordinator, HR Specialist, and an Operations Manager for other large home care organizations. Tannya holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources. Her favorite Quote is by author Leo Buscaglia, "Too often we underestimate the power of touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”. In her spare time, Tannya loves spending time with her two sons, daughter and husband. As a family, they love camping, visiting national parks, motorcycle and ATV riding, and soccer. Tannya is a big fan of LAFC and the Dodgers.

Christine is the Operations Coordinator for Homewatch Caregivers of Yorba Linda. She is responsible for the scheduling, communications and logistics for our office. Christine has been in the home care industry for over five years. She has worked as a Case Manager, Care Coordinator and Scheduler for two other providers. Christine has a passion about the senior care field because she landed in this industry after becoming a caregiver for her aging grandparents. She also thinks it’s ideal for clients to have an option to age at home. In her spare time, Christine enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 stepdaughters, and her son. Her passions are swimming, baking, and going to the beach.

Sophia has been in the home care industry for almost 15 years. She spent many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant as she worked her way through her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management. She also earned her Master of Science degree in Health Service Administration. Sophia is responsible for assessing the care for all of all our clients, coordinating care, and ensuring satisfaction with our services. She is generally the first point of contact for most of our clients. Getting to know our clients and their families on an individual level is of high importance as she plans and executes our care strategy. Sophia’s passion for the home care industry stems from wanting to make a positive impact on seniors and to create a quality lifestyle in comfortable surroundings. In her personal time, Sophia is a die-hard Laker and Dodgers fan. She loves spending time with her family and baking tasty desserts with recipes handed down through generations of family and friends.
