Dear Homewatch Caregivers,
I just wanted to send you a note to applaud Pat Scruggs.
My mother, who lives in Willoughby Hills, has been recuperating from a couple of bad falls she took last month. I was out to help her last week, but realized that, although she has been slowly improving, she needed some extra support when I and other local family members could not be there. I am fortunate to have a back-up care benefit from my employer, Princeton University, and relied on Bright Horizons to provide this care. They found you.
As you might expect, my mother was a little apprehensive about a new caregiver. That did not last long. I called her about an hour or so after Pat arrived and she was RAVING about her. Not only did Pat provide the type of help she needed, she also made helpful suggestions, such as installing a hand held shower, that would ease my mother ‘s discomfort. I know that if I need to call upon short-term help again, my mother would probably insist that I find out if I could get Pat!
Thank you for providing this important service. It is comforting to know that people such as my mother can have a second pair of hands when they need one!
Please feel free to pass along my thanks to Pat as well.
