Homewatch CareGivers is locally owned and operated. We are ‘hands-on’ and we lead by example. Dale Kiesz started the company in 2004. He was born in South Dakota and spent time living in the Midwest, the South, Canada and England. As such, he has perspectives of many cultures, and it helps our team understand and relate to people from all walks of life. Amy Kirby is the co-owner and always has had a desire to do meaningful work helping others. With a can-do attitude and teamwork, she believes we can offer the best care for each person, providing comfort for each client and their family.

We sincerely care about our clients, who often are elders or others dealing with a chronic illness or injury. We formed our caregiving business with a belief that with the right kind of help, people can stay in their own homes. People find the highest degree of peace and security in their own homes and home is where they have the dignity and strength to endure life's difficulties. It is in their own homes that people find the most joy and awaken each day with the greatest sense of purpose.

The Homewatch CareGivers team provides hourly, overnight, and 24-hour care, all of which can be tailored to individual needs. Our caregivers proudly serve clients throughout Island and Skagit county, including Whidbey Island, Anacortes, Mount Vernon, and Camano Island. Our referrals come from clients and their families, as well as churches, medical facilities, hospice, and referrals from the community.

We are committed to providing quality caregiver employees who match the needs of our clients. Our business strives to hire the very best employees. Our caregivers have experience in caring for clients with chronic illnesses, stroke, dementia, pre & post-operative care, rehabilitation, hospice support and respite care. We have a quality control program to ensure that our care stays at the highest level.

Our business is licensed by the Department of Health, we are insured, our employees are covered by bond, and they have Washington State workers compensation insurance. Our combined business goal is the same as the client's goal—to stay securely at home with peace, dignity, and sense of purpose.
