Owner & President
Homewatch CareGivers of Quakertown, Pennsylvania is owned by Keith Grierson. Keith expanded Homewatch CareGivers services into the Quakertown and Bucks County communities as well as northern Montgomery County in 2021.
Keith graduated from The College at Brockport State University Of New York where he earned a BS in Communications, with a Minor in English. It was during these years that he started volunteering in a local fire department and ambulance (a family tradition). He obtained his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-D) in 1992. He spent the next 30 years in leadership and human resources for a large supermarket chain based out of Rochester, New York. His life has been dedicated to serving people and giving back to people in need.
In 2008, his father fell ill with prostate cancer; this personal experience sowed the seeds of home care in Keith’s mind. With his father quickly passing from the disease and his grandmother still in the family home in deteriorating health herself, it became obvious that "Gram" would need more support than she was able to get just from family. “My entire family stepped in to take care of Gram as well as we could, but with my sister and Aunt doing the bulk of the work,” Keith said. “I was now living three and a half hours away in Pennsylvania. Gram wanted to stay in the family home but struggled to maintain the house and the yard as well as getting from one floor to the next with the steps, bad knees, and feet. Even with family at Gram's home as often as possible, she missed everyday interactions with people and needed more care and support than we were ultimately able to provide. We did not know at the time that home care existed, but we wish we had. It would have given my grandmother a little bit longer in her home”.
Keith explained, “after Gram passed in 2020, my wife Nancy (a registered nurse for over 20 years) and I decided that Homewatch CareGivers has a wonderful service model and is perfect for us. People want to maintain their independence as much as possible. Aging in place allows for a higher quality of life, Homewatch CareGivers helps to provide dignity, respect, quality, and integrity of care for each of our clients. I think our home care service really speaks to people who are going through the same experiences my family did. I wanted to be able to offer our community’s families and elderly the support and resources needed to get through the tough times.”
Keith has a simple belief for his Homewatch CareGivers family: “We want to make sure we know each client on an individual basis, like family. Our caregivers are exceptional. They go above and beyond with each client, treating them like I wanted my Dad or Gram to be treated before they passed. Our person-directed care approach means that clients know their opinion matters in their care plan. A sample of what our caregivers are so good at includes personal care, medication reminders, companion care, and making sure our clients are safe while enjoying their days to the fullest.”
Keith, his wife, daughter, and two sons reside in Skippack, Pennsylvania. Keith is currently volunteering at the Skippack Fire Company where he serves as President, Assistant Chief, and Training Officer. He also serves as a firefighter at the Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Quakertown Fire Company #1, and on the Montgomery County Emergency Services Incident Support Team. He was Chief of the Chinchilla Hose Company (operating fire, rescue and two BLS ambulances) in Northeastern Pennsylvania before moving to Skippack. He has been a firefighter for over 30 years. When not working, playing ice hockey, or volunteering, Keith loves to be with his family at their sporting events, around the pool, or just watching cooking shows to unwind.

I currently work as a Habilitation Technician II (over 5+ years) and Senior Home Healthcare Caregiver (over 2 years) for which both titles provide respite care for families. I enjoy providing compassion and excellence for individuals and their families in their homes and community. I advocate building strong relationships, while spending time with the clients on various activities, allowing them to enhance and thrive in their quality of life. I am the lucky mom of two children, and our white fluffy Pomeranian. I have been married to my eighth grade crush for eight years, and as a family we love to travel a variety of beaches, enjoy restaurants, eating spicy foods, as well as watching sports and movies. I instruct water fitness and swim lessons throughout the year for personal health and well-being. I love to make people smile with my bubbly sense of humor. I hold my caregiver role seriously, considering all people with needs have the right to independent living and finding support.
