Hello Fall! September is rapidly coming to a close. We have had a busy quarter here at Homewatch CareGivers of NKY. We have now implemented the Sunflower Mentoring CareGiver Coach program. I am excited to have this in place so that we can continue to build our care teams and celebrate when our new team members graduate at 100 days. At this time we have two Care Coaches. Our focus is constantly on training and having a positive workplace so that the care team feels appreciated and will carry their passions into the homes and facilites.

St. Elizabeth Hospice will be hosting their annual Veteran's Appreciation Lunch in November. Homewatch CareGivers of NKY is a proud to be among the many vendors present in support of our Veterans. Veterans of all ages are invited and are welcome to bring a caregiver as well! This is a FREE event, however, registration is required. Email Natalie at natalie.ciulla@stelizabeth.com for more information. Veterans are also encouraged to submit a photo.

Be on the lookout for our annual Pumpkin Carving Contest toward the end of October. The caregivers will carve/decorate pumpkins at home and send in pictures that will be shared on social media for voting. The winner will receive the annual trophy in addition to a Kroger gift card.
