I have a B.A. in Human Resources from Miami University. My professional experience includes 15 years as a Hospitality HR Manager and Accounting Manager for two years. I started and ran my own business for 6 years, worked as an Office Manager for a childcare business for 8 years, was a fitness instructor which included teaching Silver Sneakers for seniors, and have been a life coach for 5 years.
My family and I reside in Northern Kentucky. My hobbies include watching my children’s sports, running, hiking and travel. I served as a PTA President for many years, and I am currently serving on the Walton Verona Board of Education. I enjoy volunteering in our local community. Being connected in numerous networking groups throughout Northern Kentucky has been an amazing blessing to my career. I have met many wonderful like-minded women and business owners.
In 2000, I became a primary caregiver for my grandparents for 2 years. It was a very rewarding experience to be able to be there with them during a time when they needed me. I also hired 24/7 care for them, as they both needed care and wanted to remain in their home. I was able to experience first hand the challenges that caregivers face and also the decisions that need to be made when a family member wants to remain in their home. I was able to help them age with dignity.
Throughout my career, I have worked in hospitality and childcare as a Human Resources Manager and Office Manager. I became a part of HWCG because I want to bring all of my professional experience into a passion. I love helping people, and also love to employ staff. I love connecting people and working with them to turn a job into a career. I have been known to have a zeal and passion for motivating people to excellence and bringing joy to a rainy day. I have been told by many that my smile is contagious.
