Margaret “Margie” Lannon born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is now the proud owner of Homewatch CareGIvers in Southern Arizona. She opened her first Homewatch CareGivers office in 2009 in Tucson, and her second located in Green Valley in 2019.
She has always had a passion for working with the elderly. It probably first started when she volunteered in nursing homes when she was in Girl Scouts during grade school. Her leader would take the whole troop there every month. It was something she looked forward to every month and it’s not clear who enjoyed it more—Margie or the clients who she visited with. After college, she was a social worker in a nursing home. She took a little hiatus and worked with young teens and adults and then came back to the elderly in 2009.
Now as the owner of Homewatch CareGivers, she is a Certified Senior Advisor. She has been on numerous boards throughout the years including the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Woman’s Foundation of Southern Arizona, and Tucson College. She is very active in Rotary in her community serving as Past President for past two years. She has volunteered with many charities in town including Wings for Women, the Alzheimer’s Association, The Forgotten Children and chaired the Woman’s Foundation Luncheon in 2015 and 2016, the largest luncheon in Tucson.
Growing old is not an easy task but it is inevitable. Margie and her team want to make sure that their clients enjoy every last minute of it. Whether it is having someone by their side to talk to them to more personal tasks, the team at Homewatch CareGIvers just wants to make everyone’s life they can touch a little better.
Andrea Smith is the Community Outreach Coordinator for Homewatch Caregivers of Tucson/Green Valley. She has been with the company for 3 years and loves helping people of all ages find reliable caregiving services.
Before starting in her current position, Andrea worked as an account manager for a marketing company in Dallas, TX and as a caregiver in Green Valley, AZ. Whether it be wearing a purple tutu to help raise awareness for Alzheimer’s or offering to give presentations that will help educate and uplift the community. We all make a difference in our own unique way.

She has worked in many different capacities including a facility for Alzheimer’s patients. One man in particular stands out in her mind as loving M&M’s and when Marcia brought some in, he would come running with a huge smile on his face.
Marcia has 1 son who is an RN at the hospital in Beverly Hills. When her Dad passed away 7 years ago, she moved in with her mom who has dementia.
My name is Nancy Kitchen and I am the Client Care Coordinator for Homewatch CareGivers of Green Valley. Working for Homewatch CareGivers feeds my passion for helping people age safely and comfortably with dignity and respect.
I have a BA in Education and MA work in Education Administration. Before Homewatch, I worked in an administrative capacity for over 30 years and I also have experience taking care of grandparents and parents through a variety of medical conditions and treatments.
While helping to care for my grandmother with Alzheimer’s, I realized that providing care for her was more than taking care of physical needs. It was remembering to treat her with dignity and respect because of who she had been in my life, not who she had become. Thus, developed my passion for learning all I could about Alzheimer’s and using the information whenever I can.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, spending time with family and visiting amusement parks!
Hi, my name is Iona and I am the Human Resources Manager at Homewatch CareGivers of Tucson. Prior to joining Homewatch CareGivers, I worked as a Human Resources Manager at Proactive Physical Therapy and Office Manager/Human Resources at A-Atlas for over 10 years.
Working at Homewatch CareGivers has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I never understood just how important what we do here at Homewatch is. The clients truly appreciate your time and what you do for them. We really do make a difference in their lives.
Outside of work, I love to camp, especially on the beach, and I love to read every chance I get. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, as well as our two four legged children, Mia and Melvin.
