I was so thrilled to be invited by the Board of Directors to attend the VVA meeting today and so incredibly proud that I can show my patriotism by being a member of the chapter, even though I did not serve in the military. It was a privilege to witness the Quilt of Valor presentation to three of our heroic Veterans. I have been and will remain a lifelong supporter of military men and women and their families.
Thanks to the VFW Lewisville, the incredible volunteers and of course, our Veterans!!
They were able to finally have Patient’s Day, after a nearly three break. I’m so glad I could participate. Also, a big congratulations to Commander Elect Charles - we can’t wait to see all the great work you’ll do for our Veterans and the community!

Thanks to the Denton Senior Center for allowing me to live out a childhood fantasy of being a game show host and more importantly, for introducing me to some really great seniors in the Denton area!

Homewatch CareGivers of Lewisville was able to participate in patient appreciation day at NextCare Urgent Care.
We were able to meet so many wonderful folks and talk with them about the services our caregivers can provide. Our team can assist with post-surgery care, discharge assistance, transportation services among many other short-term and long-term services. Check out our website for more information. We do not require a minimum number of hours for care and we are able to offer to 24-hour care, as well.
The Homewatch CareGivers of Lewisville team had so much fun playing Bingo with the residents of the Evergreen at Vista Ridge.
We played several games of Texas T, Four Corners and traditional Bingo, while being able to chat about the services our team of caregivers can offer. Residents of independent living communities can enjoy activities such as playing games, going to lunch, making lunch together and sharing stories with caregivers that provide companion care, among other services. We look forward to seeing the residents of Evergreen at Vista Ridge again next month.
