Meet Rochelle Tapia

Growing up I’ve always wanted to be in the medical field. I was influenced by my peers and family members. I strived to learn and educate myself in this growing industry. I’ll never forget my first experience volunteering in a Skilled Nursing Facility. I fell in love with the people I met and enjoyed my time with them. That’s when my passion grew and earned my Nursing Assistant Certification in 2002. I’ve worked with many different health organizations and discovered what I enjoyed most. Caring for Alzheimer’s was my favorite. Learning through their ways and re-telling stories was inspiring. When I can discover their happiness, and bring laughter to their day, that was rewarding. I’ve cared for loved ones that have passed away and it’s painful to witness their pain. As a caregiver, I developed a passion to serve and give back my community. I was also given an opportunity to work for my aunt’s Nurse Registry company as a Nurse Staffing Coordinator.  I was fortunate to grow in the industry and gain more knowledge and experience. I was then determined to further my education in Health Care as an Administrator. 15 years of experience has taught me the meaning of quality of life. I am thankful for my supporting family-  husband of 18 years who is currently serving in the United States Army and my daughters Jenna Mae and Abigail Taylor; they are “MY WHY”, my inspiration and my rock. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.
