Care Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week.
Nicole took on all the tasks of his morning care: washing, dressing, and showering. When he started physical therapy she willingly took over the morning routine and did a fantastic job. Under her care he gained muscle strength and was eventually able to get out of the wheel chair and back to his walker. When we can’t be home, Bev and I are very comfortable with leaving Nicole in charge. We trust her with everything! Actually, we really feel Nicole is a member of our family.

Know that as people with degenerative disorders experience changes in their health, Kalamazoo Homewatch CareGivers’ professionally-developed training prepares our caregivers so they are ready to adapt when they need to. The main focus of Kalamazoo Homewatch CareGivers is safety – our specially trained and educated caregivers work at all times to make sure the home is a safe environment, continually making assessments about the risk of a fall or another factor that could be dangerous for a person with a degenerative disorder.
Kalamazoo Homewatch CareGivers provides a reliable caregiving team that can help keep track of medications and the treatments those with degenerative disorders face each day. Our caregivers go through specific training on many degenerative disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, the after-effects of a stroke, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer's-related diseases, so we respond quickly and effectively when necessary.
