Caregivers provide paraprofessional services to the agency’s home care clients, as assessed in the care plan and in compliance with the client’s Service Agreement. Caregivers can be CNAs (Certified Nurse Aides), HHAs (Home Health Aides) or PCPs (Personal Care Providers). The ideal Caregiver must be caring, empathetic, honest, and reliable.
Scope of Position:
Reports to Director of Client and Caregiver Relationships
Assist the agency’s clients with their personal care needs in accordance with the care plan and qualifications (CNA/PCP/HHA).
Assist the agency's clients with activities of daily living in a safe and beneficial manner.
Provide medication reminders to the agency's clients but do not administer medication nor perform any procedure requiring the knowledge and/or skills of a licensed nurse or registered therapist.
