Mom needs long-term care. What are my next steps? How Homewatch CareGivers of Goodyear can help.

elderly mom and caregiver reading

You recently noticed Mom needing more assistance with chores around her house. Her equilibrium is off. She needs to be reminded to take her medications frequently. So you find yourself helping her more and more.

Although she only lives a few miles away, with a full-time job and a family with a hectic schedule, there aren’t enough hours in the day for you to provide the around-the-clock care she now needs.

There comes a time when a loved one needs more help in the home that you can’t provide. Having a 24/7 professional caregiver ensures peace of mind for them and you (their family). It also provides your loved one with dignity by allowing them to safely do what they can and what they enjoy doing when they want to do it.

When the decision is made that extra care is required, whether due to a health condition or age, many people prefer the familiarity and comfort of their own home. Homewatch CareGivers of Goodyear is here to navigate you through the process and will help you understand your long-term home care options.

Understanding Your Long-Term Home Care Options

Homewatch CareGvers of Goodyear delivers the compassionate, individualized long-term care needed to make it through day-to-day activities while still maintaining a healthy dose of independence.

Maia Bachmeier, Owner, and President says, “There isn’t a one size fits all plan for around-the-clock in-home assisted living needs. For example, some individuals require help with mobility and need assistance with light housekeeping, while others need more constant monitoring and medication reminders. Whether your non-medical needs are assistance with bathing, transportation to the grocery store, menu planning, or companionship to combat loneliness, Homewatch CareGivers will explain all of your long-term home care options and create a customized plan of care that fits your needs.”

With an array of services available to meet you or your loved one’s specific long-term care needs, Homewatch Caregivers of Goodyear can help ease your everyday stresses while ensuring safety in the home.
