Eric's Bio
Following years of soul searching, I was inspired to enter the home care arena in 2006 after my aunt was stricken with Alzheimer’s. Though I did not have any health care experience, my gut told me that because of my family experience, I was destined to help others with similar needs.
While being raised in Youngstown, one of my fondest memories was receiving a call during lunch in the high school cafeteria. It was my mom who could not wait to tell me that I was accepted into Case Western Reserve University. My mom was never shy about opening my mail.
After a challenging first year, I joined a fraternity, was one of the few management co-op students, and graduated in 5 years. Then I landed a job with a local manufacturing firm that was kind enough to pay for my MBA. I earned that degree from Case’s Weatherhead School of Management in 1995. Upon graduation, I knew I wanted to become an entrepreneur.
However, it was not until I turned 40 and had nearly 20 years of experience as a financial analyst that inspiration struck and a business model that fueled my deep passion to help others emerged. Purchasing a Homewatch CareGivers franchise was a life changing moment.
Another life changing moment occurred when I married Rosey Clow in 2015. I just turned 49 and this was my first marriage. Rosey left her full-time job to become part of the Homewatch CareGivers family. She is now instrumental in running the daily operations.
